MARIN COUNTY — Caltrans will continue work on the Miller Creek overcrossing in the Marinwood area of San Rafael to replace bridge railings that line both sides of the St. Vincent/Miller Creek Road overpass along US-101.

There are not expected to be any ramp or road closures associated with the project, but the construction crew needs to shift traffic to work safely on the side of the road. Drivers may experience temporary uneven pavement. The work is scheduled to last until December, 2022. Caltrans will provide more information about a final date when it becomes available.

Crews are working to replace the rails on the south side of the overcrossing. Once completed, Caltrans will shift traffic to facilitate the replacement of the railing on the north side. Caltrans has placed flexible delineators on the road to guide drivers and increase safety.

Please drive with caution. Slow for the Cone Zone and Be Work Zone Alert. Caltrans thanks motorists for their patience while we work to maintain our state's highways, bridges, and tunnels.
