Santa Clara County – Beginning Monday September 26, the California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will perform a daytime lane closure of Southbound Interstate 280 (I-280) from Stelling Road overcrossing, in Cupertino, to Bird Avenue, in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The lane closure is needed for Caltrans Maintenance crews to safely perform scheduled highway clean-up and vegetation removal along I-280 in the center divider. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for travel. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
