Onramp at 8th St. For Eastbound I-80 Will Be Closed Nightly Starting Monday, 8/1 Through Sunday, 8/7

The Nightly Closures of The Onramp Will Begin at 11 PM
and Will Reopen By 6 AM The Following Morning

San Francisco County - Caltrans is scheduled to remove sign structures on the EB I-80 onramp at 8^th St. Caltrans will also be placing temporary signage on the onramp.

For public and worker safety, the EB I-80 onramp at 8^th St. onramp will be closed nightly starting Monday, 8/1 through Sunday, 8/7. The closures each night will begin at 11 PM and the onramp will reopen by 6 AM the following morning.

Motorists are encouraged to use the EB I-80 onramp at 5^th St.

During the closure, motorists should expect increased traffic on city streets near the 8^th St. onramp and the 5^th St. onramp due to the detour.

Travel on EB I-80 should not be affected by the construction.
