OVERNIGHT FULL CLOSURE OF US-101 AT BLOSSOM HILL ROAD IN SAN JOSE, SANTA CLARA COUNTY
Beginning Monday, April 19, 2021

SANTA CLARA COUNTY – Caltrans in partnership with The Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will perform a full overnight closure of Interstate 101 (US 101), at Blossom Hill Road in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The full overnight closures will begin with southbound (SB) US-101 lanes being closed on 4/19 through 4/21 and northbound lanes 4/22 through 4/25. Closures are needed for crews to safely remove steel falsework of the US-101/ Blossom Hill Road Overcrossing. Changeable message signs and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Please follow posted detour information.

Southbound Closures:

April 19 through April 22: 12 AM to 5:00 AM
SB US-101 Detours: SB 101 traffic will exit at Blossom Hill Rd off-ramp, turn left at Blossom Hill and then turn right onto SB 101 on-ramp.

Northbound Closures:

April 22 through April 25: 12:00 AM to 4:00 AM
NB US-101 Detours: NB 101 traffic will exit at Blossom Hill Rd off-ramp, turn left at Blossom Hill and then turn right onto NB 101 on-ramp.
