Overnight Lane Closures Through Mid May 2021
State Route 1 (Sr-1) San Francisco | General Douglas Macarthur Tunnel
Tunnel Lighting Replacement Work
San Francisco – Caltrans Bay Area is scheduled for overnight lane closures on State Route 1 (SR-1) in San Francisco approaching the General Douglas MacArthur Tunnel for tunnel lighting replacement work to improve visibility and travel safety.
SR-1 will be reduced to one lane every night, Monday PM to Saturday AM, inside the tunnel with the following schedule:
- Northbound (NB) - current to the beginning of April 2021 from 10 PM - 5 AM
- Southbound (SB) - beginning of April 2021 to mid May 2021 from 9 PM - 5 AM
