Overnight Closure Westbound #3 Bore
Maintenance Work
Beginning Tuesday, February 16, 2021 at 10:00 PM
ALAMEDA AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES – Caltrans will temporarily close the number three westbound bore of the State Route 24 (SR-24) Caldecott Tunnel overnight on Tuesday, February 16. While one bore is closed, the other bores will remain open to traffic.
Westbound Bore #3 Closed Night on Tuesday, February 16:
Beginning Tuesday, February at 16 10:00 PM until 4:30 AM on Wednesday, February 17, the number three westbound bore will be temporarily closed for tunnel maintenance work.
Traffic Control Measures:
Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
