Santa Clara County – Caltrans will implement intermittent daytime closures on State Route 17, between Idylwild Road and Redwood Estates, Los Gatos, Santa Clara County. These intermittent street closures are needed to remove dead, dying, diseased or structurally deficient trees located on Caltrans right of way. Closures will take place Monday, February 1, and expected to be complete by the end of March 2021 (depending on weather).
Residents will experience normal construction noise due to the removal of vegetation.
Intermittent Lane Closures between Idylwild Road and Redwood Estates February 1, Monday through Thursday: 7:00 AM to 1:00 PM
Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute. Please drive with caution through the construction zone, leave a safe traveling distance between your vehicle and the vehicle ahead of you, and Slow for the Cone Zone.
