OVERNIGHT FULL CLOSURE OF US-101 AT BLOSSOM HILL ROAD

Beginning Monday, January 19, 202

SANTA CLARA COUNTY – Caltrans in partnership with The Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) will perform a full overnight closure of Interstate 101 (US 101), at Blossom Hill Road in San Jose, Santa Clara County. The full overnight closures will begin with southbound (SB) US-101 lanes being closed on 1/19 through 1/21 and northbound lanes 1/22, 1/25 through 1/26. Closures are needed for crews to safely erect steel falsework of the US-10/ Blossom Hill Road Overcrossing. Changeable message signs and directional signs will be in place to
assist motorists traveling in the area. Please follow posted detour information.

Southbound Closures:

January 19 through January 21: 12 AM to 5:00 AM

SB US-101 Detours: SB 101 traffic will exit at Blossom Hill Rd off-ramp, turn left at Blossom Hill
and then turn right onto SB 101 on-ramp.

Northbound Closures:

January 22, January 25 and 26: 11:00 PM to 4:00 AM
NB US-101 Detours: NB 101 traffic will exit at Blossom Hill Rd off-ramp, turn left at Blossom Hill and then turn right onto NB 101 on-ramp. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute.
