Full Overnight Highway Closure State Route 128 over Capell Creek in
Napa County starting the week of Dec. 21, 2020.
(Motorists are advised to used Silverado Trail as detour)
Napa County - Caltrans has scheduled a three day overnight closure starting at 7:00 PM until 5:00 AM starting the week of Monday, Dec. 21 at State Route 128 at Capell Creek in Capell Valley, Napa County.
For the safety of workers and motorists, the full overnight highway closure will allow large equipment to be used as crews will be working on girder placement for the bridge. Emergency vehicles will be allowed access during the overnight closure.
Detour Route:
Motorists are advised to use State Route 121 to Silverado Trail as an alternate route.
The new bridge will be completed as early as summer 2021 at which time the permanent new bridge will be opened to traffic and the temporary bridge eventually removed.
