Northbound I-880 Overnight Lane Closures Between Whipple Road And Industrial Parkway December 17 – Spring 2021
Hayward—Caltrans has scheduled to close various lanes on northbound Interstate 880 between Whipple Road and Industrial Parkway in Hayward overnight starting December 17 and running through spring 2021.
The purpose of the closures is to accommodate work on the eastbound Industrial Parkway overcrossing, repairing the damaged bridge girder. Various lanes will close at 9 p.m. and reopen at 5 a.m. the following morning.
At least one lane will be open at all times.
Signs and California Highway Patrol officers will be in place to direct motorists.
