Joint Replacement And Pavement Repair Work
Starting Sunday, November 15 To Thursday, December 10
From 11 Pm To 5 Am
San Francisco – Caltrans Has Scheduled Overnight Lane And Ramp Closures On Eastbound (EB) I-80 On The lower deck of the San Francisco Oakland Bay Bridge (SFOBB) between San Francisco and Treasure Island for joint replacement and pavement repair work with the following schedule, weather conditions permitting:
Dates and Times:
> Sunday, November 15 through Thursday, December 10
> Every Sunday through Thursday overnight from 11 PM to 5 AM
Closures Lanes and Ramps:
(1) The three left lanes east of the Essex (1st Street) on ramp to west of Treasure Island
(2) EB I-80 First Street on ramp
(3) EB I-80 Essex Street on ramp
Caltrans regrets any inconvenience as drivers and residents may experience some noise and delays. Once this work is complete, drivers will benefit from a smoother safer drive. CHP will be on-site to guide and assist motorists. Drivers are advised to reduce their speeds approaching the project site, watch for the cone patterns, plan ahead, and expect delays.
