101 Alemany Project | Noise Expected
Overnight Lane And Street Closures 
Starting Monday, November 16, 2020 To Thursday, November 26, 2020
Various Times For Multiple Project Items

San Francisco – Caltrans Is Scheduled For Three (3) Locations Of Overnight Lane And Street Closures, With Special note to the third location, all starting Monday, November 16 to Thursday, November 26. Noise, delays, detours, and enforcement for ‘No Parking’ are expected. Please see below. 

(1) Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) U.S. 101 approaching Alemany Blvd - overnight lane reductions for drainage repairs, striping work, and follow up work from Monday, November 16 at 10 PM to Thursday, November 26 at 6 AM.
 
(2) Eastbound (EB) and Westbound (WB) through the Alemany Circle - ongoing lane reductions 24/7 for painting and follow up work. 

(3) Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) San Bruno Ave between the Alemany Circle and Gaven Street - directional closures for grinding and paving work in preparation for the SFMTA bike path starting Monday, November 16 at 7 PM to Thursday, November 26 at 6 AM.  Noise, delays, detours, and enforcement for ‘No Parking’ are expected. Please see the two (2) attached detour maps for NB and SB San Bruno Ave. 

Caltrans regrets any inconvenience as residents and motorists as noise is expected. At least one lane of traffic will remain open at all times on 101 and Alemany Blvd. However, as previously mentioned, NB and SB San Bruno Ave will have directional closures with detours and ‘No Parking” enforcement set in place. 

Motorists, pedestrians, and bicyclists are advised to reduce their speeds approaching the project site(s). CHP and flaggers will be on site to guide and assist motorists and Change Message Signs will be activated. We thank you for your patience and cooperation for the while we work to maintain our state roads and highways.
