Full Highway Closure In San Jose For Police Activity Northbound (Nb) U.S. 101 In San Jose, Santa Clara County Between The 280/680 Connector And Alumn Rock (Sr-130) November 2, 2020 From 1:00 PM To 2:30 PM

Santa Clara County – In Partnership With The California Highway Patrol (Chp), Caltrans Has Scheduled a full highway closure on Northbound (NB) U.S. 101 (101) in the City of San Jose between the 280/680 connector ramp up to Alum Rock (SR-130) today,  November 2, 2020, from 1:00 PM to 2:30 PM for police activity. Four (4) items
are below listing the details, closures, detours, and alternate routes.

FULL HIGHWAY CLOSURE - NB 101 shutdown between the 280/680 connector up to
Alum Rock (SR-130) >>> DETOUR - traffic detoured onto NB 280 or NB 680.

CONNECTOR RAMP CLOSURE 1 of 2 - SB 280 to NB 101 >>> ALTERNATE ROUTE - exit 7th
Street, 10th Street (11th Street), or McLaughlin Ave before the closure.

CONNECTOR RAMP CLOSURE 2 of 2 - SB 680 to NB 101 >>> ALTERNATE ROUTE  -exit
Capitol Expressway, Jackson Ave, or King Rd before the closure.

TWO ON RAMP CLOSURES - EB and WB Story Road on ramps to NB 101 >>> ALTERNATE ROUTE - use the Alum Rock (SR-130) on ramp to NB 101; this is north of the closure.

CHP will be on scene to guide and assist motorists. Drivers are advised to avoid the area, plan ahead, expect delays, and/or reduce their speeds. Caltrans regrets any inconvenience and thanks you for your patience and cooperation as we work maintain the safety of our state roadways and highways.
