Interstate 880 Temporary Overnight Lane Closures
In Oakland October 16 – Late November
Oakland—Caltrans is scheduled to temporarily close nightly three lanes of northbound and southbound Interstate 880 in Oakland between High Street and 16th Avenue from October 16 to late November.
The work will take place nightly between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. Three of the four lanes on both northbound and southbound I-880 will be closed to traffic. The closure is to accommodate paving work.
The work is expected to be completed in late November, barring any unexpected developments such as rain.
Changeable message signs will be on hand to direct motorists.
