Nightly Closure Sunday – Thursday 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM until mid-October 2020

Sonoma County – Caltrans will begin overnight closures of  Highway 101 between Geyserville and Cloverdale starting Tuesday, September 1, until mid-October 2020, part of the Big Pave II, the project to rehabilitate Highway 101 between Geyserville and Cloverdale in Sonoma County.

Caltrans will be repairing the concrete on the freeway bridges between the Canyon Road overpass in Geyserville to the Highway 101/Route 128 interchange in Cloverdale.

During work hours, a full closure will be in effect from 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM Sunday through  Thursday.  No work is scheduled for Friday and Saturday nights.

Caltrans will be working on the eight bridges, one at a time, starting at the Canyon Road overcrossing and finishing on the Highway 101/Route 128 Interchange in Cloverdale.

In the late spring, Caltrans repaved this section of freeway with asphalt.  Caltrans is now repairing the concrete on the bridges. Work crews will replace worn concrete and smooth the transition between the new asphalt and the concrete on the overpasses.

Detours will be short and well-marked. Traffic will exit at the off-ramp before the overpass and re-enter the freeway at the on-ramp just after the overpass.

Motorists should expect slight delays and watch for detour signs.
