San Francisco – Caltrans has scheduled nightly lane closures for ongoing barrier and pavement repair work on Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) U.S. 101 (101) every night starting Monday, July 27 at 11:00 PM through Saturday, August 1 at 6:00 AM. The roadway will be reduced to one lane with the following schedule:
NB 101 Lane Closures
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday (only) approaching Alemany Blvd
8:00 PM to 6:00 AM
SB 101 Lane Closures
Monday through Friday, between the NB Vermont and Cesar Chavez exit
11:00 PM to 5:00 AM
Drivers are also reminded that column wrapping work under 101 through the Alemany Circle takes place every day Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM involving intermittent lane closures on Eastbound (EB) and Westbound (WB) Alemany Blvd so crews can safely navigate equipment and vehicles.
Caltrans regrets any inconvenience as drivers and residents may experience some delays and noise. CHP will be on-site to guide and assist motorists. Drivers are advised to reduce speeds to 35 mph through the project site, plan ahead, and expect delays.
