Napa County as crews inspect temporary steel bridge

NAPA COUNTY- Motorists travelling on State Route 128 (SR-128) in Capell Valley in Napa County should expect traffic delays near the Capell Creek Bridge
construction site starting at 8:00 AM on Wednesday, July 8, 2020. Construction crews will perform some of its first bridge inspections of the temporary modular steel bridge. Crews completed the steel bridge in June, shifting traffic onto the temporary bridge as crews construct a new bridge.

Temporary one-way traffic controls will be in place as motorists should expect delays up to 15 minutes. The new bridge will be completed as early as summer 2021 at which time the permanent new bridge will be opened to traffic and the temporary bridge eventually removed.

Traffic speeds will be reduced to 25 mph on the bridge.
