Eastbound #1 Bore Maintenance Work Beginning Monday, July 6, 2020 at 9:00 PM
ALAMEDA AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES – Caltrans will temporarily close the number one bore of the State Route 24 (SR-24) Caldecott Tunnel overnight starting Monday, July 6. All other bores will remain open to traffic.
Eastbound Bore #1 Closed Night of Monday, July 6: Beginning Monday, July 6 at 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM on Tuesday, July 7, the #1 eastbound bore will be temporarily closed for tunnel maintenance work.
Eastbound Bore #1 Closed Night of Tuesday, July 7: Beginning Tuesday, July 7 at 9:00 PM until 5:00 AM on Wednesday, July 8, the #1 eastbound bore will be temporarily closed for tunnel maintenance work.
Traffic Control Measures: Changeable message signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time. Please drive with caution through the construction zone. Slow for the Cone Zone.
