SAN FRANCISCO – Caltrans has scheduled overnight full highway closures and lane reductions on U.S. 101 (101) between the northbound (NB) Vermont and Alemany Blvd exit starting Monday, July 6 at 8:00 PM to Saturday, July 11 at 6:00 AM for ongoing barrier, pavement repair, and lane striping work.
Northbound (NB) 101 will be closed every night from 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM through Saturday, July 11 at 6:00 AM; lane reductions will begin at 8:00 PM. NB traffic will be detoured onto the Interstate 280 connector. Additionally, Southbound 101 will have lane reductions every night from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM through Saturday, July 11 at 6:00 AM.
Caltrans regrets any inconvenience as drivers and residents may experience some delays and noise. CHP will be on-site to guide and assist motorists. Drivers are advised to reduce speeds to 35 mph through the project site, plan ahead, and expect delays.
