Maintenance Work

Alameda, Calif. — Caltrans is providing free shuttle service to cyclists, pedestrians and the general public while the sidewalk inside of the Posey Tube (State Route 61) is closed for ongoing maintenance tube work effective immediately.

The shuttle will travel between the Posey ventilation building parking lot in Alameda and in front of the Chinese Garden Park at 275 7th Street in Oakland (see maps).  The shuttle will run every 15 minutes, 24/7.

The shuttle service will be in effect during scheduled maintenance work within both the Posey and Webster Tubes. The sidewalk in the Posey Tube will be closed to accommodate this work until further notice.
