Starting May 7, 2020
Marin County- The California Department of Transportation (Caltrans) will begin overnight ramp closures on Southbound U.S. Highway 101, starting at Lincoln Ave. in the City of San Rafael. Work will start tonight May 7, from 10PM until 5AM the next morning. Project work will continue through May 12, 2020 contingent on weather and shelter-in-place (SIP) mandate in order to reduce the spread of COVID-19.
Detour Routes are as follows:
From Northbound U.S. Highway 101 On-Ramp at Lincoln Ave:
- Take the Off-Ramp to Westbound San Pedro Rd.
- Head Westbound at N. San Pedro Rd.
- At MERRYDALE Rd continue Northbound
From Southbound U.S. Highway 101 take Merrydale. Rd to San Pedro Rd.
Portable message and detour signs will be posted.
