Los Gatos to Redwood Estates Beginning the week of May 11, 2020
Santa Clara County – Caltrans will begin an Electrical and Paving project on both northbound and southbound directions of State Route 17 (SR-17), from Alma College Road, Los Gatos, to Summit Road, Redwood Estates.
Construction will include paving, striping, improved lighting and traffic systems, and guardrail enhancements to preserve and extend the life of the existing SR-17. Project activities will be conducted overnight. Intermittent lane closures will take place with at least one lane for traffic throughout the night. Work is scheduled to be completed December of 2020.
Overnight Work Schedule:
Northbound SR-17
- Monday through Friday: 9:00 PM to 5:00 AM
- Saturday through Monday morning 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM
Southbound SR-17
- Monday through Friday: 9:00 PM to 6:00 AM
- Saturday through Monday morning 9:00 PM to 10:00 AM
Residents will experience normal construction noise, which will be monitored. Message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.
