For Paving and Maintenance in June 2020
Alameda County—Caltrans is taking advantage of light traffic due to the COVID-19 shelter-in-place ordinance to perform paving, guardrail repair and maintenance work in various locations along Interstate 580 in San Leandro and Oakland in June.
The locations and times will vary, but the work will be performed between 7:00 AM until 7:00 PM Monday through Saturday. The work will not close more than two lanes at a time to accommodate the work.
Traffic Control Measures:
The changeable message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.
Please drive with caution in the construction zone - Slow for the Cone Zone. Caltrans thanks motorists for their patience while we work to maintain our state’s highways, bridges, and tunnels.
