(Solano County)—The State Route 84 (SR-84) Real McCoy Ferry will be out of service for an extended period of time due to an unexpected mechanical failure on the ferry.

Due to the Real McCoy being out of service, Caltrans has cancelled all scheduled closures related to the SR-220 J-Mack Ferry until Real McCoy Ferry is back in service.

The Delta’s companion ferry, the SR-220 J-Mack Ferry will be available for crossings on demand 24 hours per day.

Caltrans is working to return the ferry to service as soon as possible. The ferry is anticipated to return to service in early May. If repairs can be completed sooner, the ferry will be immediately returned to service and the public will be notified.

Caltrans thanks motorists, businesses and residents for their patience as we work to restore the Real McCoy to service.
