Northbound U.S. Highway 101 is now closed to motorists as the Alemany Deck Replacement Project is now underway. Changeable message and directional signs are in place to assist motorists travelling in the area.
Highway and Street Detours are also in place:
U.S. Highway 101: Detour to Northbound 280
Westbound Alemany: Detour to Northbound Bayshore to Westbound Cesar Chavez and then to Northbound Pennsylvania
Eastbound Alemany: Detour starts at Southbound San Bruno to Eastbound Silver Ave and then to Northbound Bayshore Blvd.
Next steps:
After the Northbound deck has been removed and rebuilt, Southbound 101 traffic will be shifted onto the newly completed Northbound deck.
