Overnight Lane Closures on East 14th Street International Boulevard SR-185

 and Davis Street (SR-112) in San Leandro and Oakland April – October 2020

Alameda County – Caltrans has scheduled overnight lane closures at five intersections  in San Leandro and Oakland for paving and ramp upgrade work starting Monday, April 20 and running through October 2020.

The work on Davis Street (State Route 112) will be at the intersection of Davis and Clarke streets in San Leandro.

Work will also be done on East 14th Street (State Route 185) in San Leandro at 144th Avenue and Blossom Way-Cornwall Way. East 14th Street becomes International Boulevard in Oakland, and work will take place on International Boulevard at 87th Avenue and 47th Avenue in Oakland. Lanes on the two streets will be closed overnight at different times. One lane will almost always be open during the work, which will include pedestrian improvements, a ramp upgrade and paving work.

Davis Street Overnight Lane Closures

Various lanes on Davis Street at Clarke Street will be closed overnight as follows:

  • Monday-Thursday between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM
  • Friday-Saturday between 9:00 PM and 9:00 AM
  • Sunday between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM

East 14th Street/International Boulevard Overnight Lane Closures
Various lanes of East 14th Street at four different intersections will be closed overnight as follows:

  • Monday-Thursday between 10:00 PM and 7:00 AM
  • Friday between 11:00 PM and 8:00 AM
  • Saturday between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM
  • Sunday between 9:00 PM and 7:00 AM

Full closures of the two streets will rarely occur and only under unavoidable circumstances. Detours will be in place with directional signs for motorists to follow.

Traffic Control Measures:
