Project to Pave Highway 101 between Geyserville and Cloverdale

Sonoma County - Caltrans has begun preliminary work on Big Pave 2, a project to repave a 11-mile stretch of Highway 101 in Sonoma County from Canyon Road in Geyserville to Route 128 in Cloverdale. Paving is scheduled to begin the week of April 27, 2020. The daily work schedule for the paving has yet to be determined.

Caltrans will also repair drainage culverts, guardrails, and bridges between Limerick Lane in Healdsburg and Route 128 in Cloverdale.  O.C. Jones & Sons is the contractor on the $60 million contract. Big Pave 1 was finished in late 2018 when Caltrans completed paving between Windsor and Canyon Road in Geyserville.
The new paving will extend from Canyon Road to Route 128.

Caltrans will begin paving in the northbound direction, starting at Canyon Road in Geyserville and working northwards until reaching the turnaround point at the Route 128 junction. Work crews will then reverse direction and pave southbound Highway 101 within the same boundaries.
