Santa Clara – Caltrans will continue the Pavement Rehabilitation and Improvement project on State Route 82 (SR-82), from Portola Avenue to McKendrie Street in the city of San Jose. Work will continue throughout the Summer of 2020. Construction will include grinding and paving to improve the existing SR-82, improved ADA Ramps and High-Intensity activated crosswalk (HAWK) system. Project activities will be conducted during the evening and lanes closures will take place with at least one lane for traffic throughout the night. Residents will experience normal construction noise, which will be monitored.
Overnight Work Schedule:
Northbound and Southbound SR-82:
- Monday through Friday: 9 PM to 7 AM
- Friday night to Saturday morning: 9 PM to 9 AM
