Motorist Should Expect On-Ramp Closures Starting on Monday, March 23
(Bridge work could be delayed depending on forecast)
(Fairfield/Vacaville)- Caltrans is set to begin an overnight project along Eastbound I-80 beginning next week, Monday, March 23 thru Monday, April 27 in the cities of Fairfield and Vacaville in Solano County.Caltrans will be working on existing bridges along eastbound I-80 at Ledgewood Creek Bridge near Fairfield Auto Mall in Fairfield, Davis Street Undercrossing Bridge and Horse Creek Bridge near Leisure Town Road located in Vacaville. Crews will be replacing bridge joint seals, performing construction work to stabilize the bridge approach, and re-paving a portion of the roadway. Construction work could be delayed depending on weather in the area.
Motorist traveling on EB I-80 should expect alternate lane closures between Chadbourne Road and Oliver Road, Alamo Drive and Mason Street between 9:00 P.M. to 6:00 a.m., starting Monday, March 23.

EB I-80 Onramp from Magellan Road/Auto Mall Parkway closed nightly from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00A.M., Monday, March 23.
Vacaville:
EB I-80 Onramp from Davis Street will be closed nightly from 8:00 P.M. to 6:00A.M., Monday, March 23.
Motorists are advised to follow detours in place during construction and to exercise caution while driving in this area.
