Closures at the Interstate 880 State Route 238 Interchange

San Leandro - Caltrans will perform repairs at the Southbound (SB) State Route 238 (SR- 238)/Northbound (NB) and Southbound (SB) Interstate 880 (I-880) interchange in the City of San Leandro, Alameda County.

The work is scheduled as follows:

Saturday, February 8 until Sunday, February 9, from 11:00 PM until 7:00 AM (NB/SB I- 880/SB SR-238 Connector Full Closure).

Detour Information 2/8 - 2/9:

Saturday:

1. Exit NB I-880 off-ramp at Hesperian Boulevard; continue on Hesperian Boulevard; make a left to enter SB SR-238 on-ramp near College Street (Taco Bell).

2. Exit SB I-880 off-ramp at Lewelling Boulevard (Exit 30), make a left onto Lewelling Boulevard; the next light will be Hesperian Boulevard, make a left; make a left onto College Street (Taco Bell) to enter onto SB SR-238 on-ramp.

Traffic Controls Measures:

 

Changeable message signs and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Please follow posted detour information. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute. Please drive with caution through the construction zone.
