San Leandro – Caltrans will conduct repairs at the Northbound (NB) State Route 238 (SR-238)/Southbound (SB) Interstate 880 (I-880) connector in the City of San Leandro, Alameda County.  The work will begin (tonight) Tuesday, November 19 until Wednesday, November 28, from 11:00 PM until 4:00 AM.  There will be a full closure of the connector until 3:00 AM, followed by a one lane closure from 3:00 AM until 4:00 AM on the NB SR-238/SB I-880 connector.

Detour Information 11/19 – 11/28, from 11:00 PM until 4:00 AM:

Exit NB SR-238 at Hesperian Boulevard off-ramp, make a right turn onto Springlake Drive.  Make a right turn onto Hesperian Boulevard proceeding past Lewelling Boulevard.  Make a left turn onto SB I-880 on-ramp at Grant Avenue.

Traffic Controls Measures:

Changeable message signs and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area.  Please follow posted detour information.  Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute.  Please drive with caution through the construction zone.  Slow for the Cone Zone.
