San Francisco, November 14, 2019 . . . The new six-mile Bay Trail segment of bicycle and pedestrian path on the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge will open Saturday, November 16, 2019. This marks a key milestone for the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge Access Improvement Projects financed by MTC’s Bay Area Toll Authority (BATA) affiliate and undertaken in partnership with Caltrans, the Contra Costa Transportation Authority (CCTA) and the Transportation Authority of Marin (TAM).

WHEN: 10 a.m., Saturday, November 16, 2019

WHAT: Ribbon-cutting for opening of new six-mile Bay Trail segment across the Richmond-San Rafael Bridge, allowing bicyclists and pedestrians to travel between Contra Costa and Marin counties for the first time.
