State Route 1 Overnight Roadwork in Bodega Bay-Sonoma County

Sonoma County—Caltrans is scheduled to perform overnight roadwork on State Route 1 (SR-1) near Bay Hill Road in Bodega Bay, Tuesday, September 24, between 6:00 PM and 7:00 AM, to replace a culvert as part of the erosion repair project. Earlier this summer, Caltrans began emergency repair work along SR-1 to address roadway erosion due to storm damage.
Caltrans will have one-way traffic control in effect to direct motorists. The contractor will install four separate segments of culvert. Motorists should expect four delays of up to 20 minutes each, between 12:01AM to 5:00 AM to allow for placement of culvert segments.
Emergency services and Caltrans have coordinated access through work zone as necessary during work hours.
