12 Solano County Improvements Overnight Paving Work

SOLANO COUNTY—Caltrans is planning to perform overnight paving work on State Route 12 (SR-12) to repair the road in two Solano County locations. The start date for the work has been updated and the work is now projected to begin by the second week of August, running through October 2019.

Caltrans will inform the public as to the specific start date when it is determined. When the roadwork begins, it will require temporary overnight lane closures with one-way traffic controls.

The work will be performed in two locations: Between Shiloh Road in Solano County and Walters Road in Fairfield, and between Church Road and Currie Road in Rio Vista, to begin by the second week of August, running through October. The work will all be done overnight, between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM.

 

One lane of SR-12 will be closed during the overnight work. One-way traffic controls will be in place between 10:00 PM and 5:00 AM. Motorists should expect delays in the work zone.
