For Paving Improvements In Early Morning July 28
FAIRFIELD—Caltrans has scheduled to close the westbound Interstate 80 (I-80) off-ramp to southbound I-680 in Fairfield in the early morning hours of Sunday, July 28 to accommodate work on paving improvements.
The I-80 westbound off-ramp will close at 12:01 AM Sunday and re-open at 6:00 AM that same morning. Motorists will be detoured to continue on westbound I-80 to the Red Top Road off-ramp to the eastbound I-80 on-ramp to the southbound I-680 off-ramp.
The purpose of the closure is to repave the off-ramp to remove bumps and make it smooth and easy for motorists to navigate.
