Starting Monday, July 22, 2019
Gilroy – Caltrans will begin a grind and pavement maintenance project on State Route (SR) 152 (Hecker Pass), at various locations from Pole Line Road to Rancho Vista Drive, in the city of Gilroy, Santa Clara County. Work will begin the week of July 22 and be completed by the end of August 2019. Construction activities will include Cold Plane AC pavement, placing rubberized hot mix asphalt, and grinding and paving to improve the existing SR-152. Residents will experience normal construction noise which will be monitored. Work is weather permitting. 
Work Schedule:
- Monday through Thursday: 3:00 AM to 4:00 PM
Lane Closures:
- One-way traffic control with flaggers during the work schedule.
Message and directional signs will be in place to assist motorists traveling in the area. Motorists are advised to expect delays and allow extra time for their commute.
