SOLANO AND CONTRA COSTA COUNTIES—Caltrans has scheduled temporary closures of various southbound lanes on the Benicia-Martinez Bridge in Contra Costa and Solano counties July 19-22 for scheduled bridge maintenance.
On Friday, July 19, starting at 5:00 PM, various southbound lanes are scheduled to close for short periods of time, continuing through 5:00 AM Monday, July 22. All work is weather permitting.
At no time will the southbound Benicia-Martinez bridge be completely closed. There will be changeable message signs alerting motorists and detour signs guiding motorists.
