Sacramento I-80 Ramp Rehabilitation

Project Facts

Description

Rehabilitate pavement at various connectors and ramps in Sacramento County, on I-80, from 0.2 miles west of W. El Camino O.C. to 0.2 miles east of 80/244 Separation. The project also proposes to upgrade curb ramps at work locations to meet the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) requirements.

Project Benefits

The purpose of this project is to preserve and extend the life of existing pavement and improve ride quality. The pavement condition of the included ramps and connectors varies, but each shows signs of major distress, and most if not all of them can be expected to develop unacceptable ride quality by the construction year.
