PROJECT DESCRIPTION:
This Capital Preventive Maintenance (CAPM) project proposes to preserve and extend the life of existing pavement to improve ride quality on both the eastbound (EB) and westbound (WB) directions of Interstate 80 (I-80) along with onramps and off-ramps for Madison Avenue.
PURPOSE AND NEED OF PROJECT:
Purpose:
The Purpose of this project is to preserve and extend the life of the existing pavement and improve ride quality.
Need:
The existing pavement condition is showing surface distress and is expected to develop an unacceptable ride quality by the construction year.
FUNDING:
This project is to be programmed into the 2018 SHOPP and will be funded with the 20.50.201.121 Pavement Rehabilitation program.
