Project Facts
Description
This $14.1 million project will replace the Echo Summit Bridge (Br#25-0044), which is located in El Dorado County 7 miles west of the city of South Lake Tahoe along U.S. Highway 50 near Echo Summit. At the project location, the road width is very narrow and confined by a vertical rock cut slope on the mountain side and a nearly vertical downward slope on the Basin side.

This project will address deficient structural components in a bridge that is in poor condition.
