Install Exclusion Fence

Bidder Inquiry / Response

Inquiry:

1. Will Temporary Barriers be required to be placed on 101 SB for Removal/Construction of the fence?
2. Will a lane closure be required on the 101 SB? Or just shoulder?
3. Can the shoulder and bike lane be closed along Belleview Ave for all construction access?
4. When is Work anticipated to start?

Response:

1. Please refer to Standard Specification section 7-1.04 Public Safety for conditions that require the use of a temporary barrier system.  Please refer to Standard Specification section 5-1.01 regarding means and methods and section 9-1.03 Payment Scope.
2. Refer to standard specification 12-4.02C(4) Buffer Lanes.
3. All work is to be performed within the state right-of-way.  Obtain an encroachment from the City of Rio Dell to perform work on Bellview Avenue.
4. Refer to standard specification 8-1.04 START OF JOB SITE ACTIVITIES.
