Bid Item 12 is for "STAIN GALVANIZED SURFACES" . There is no specification for this item. The galvanized surfaces on similar items in the original construction were not stained. The only thing that was stained on the original fish ladder was the handrail. If it is desired to stain the misc. Metal for this project please provide a specification for the stain.
Response:
C-1, Stain” is being used as the payment mechanism for “Hot Dip Galvanize”. Galvanize in accordance with Section 75 Miscellaneous Metal.
