State Route 32 Daytime One-Way Traffic Control
Motorists Should Expect Daily Delays until July 2
BUTTE COUNTY – Caltrans is alerting motorists traveling on State Route 32 that they should plan for daytime delays of 15-20 minutes as maintenance and crack seal operations continue through Thursday, July 2.
One-way traffic control with a pilot-car escort will be in place between Platt Mountain Road and Humboldt Road from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday to allow crews to safely complete work activities. Drivers are advised to allow extra travel time through the area.
Work activities include:
• Crack sealing operations
• Drainage maintenance
• Culvert cleaning
• Vegetation and debris cleanup along the state right of way
Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
