Yolo County - Caltrans is notifying motorists of a full closure for the southbound State Route 113 (SR 113) connector ramp to eastbound Interstate 80 (I-80) as part of the ongoing $280 million Yolo 80 Managed Lanes Project.
The southbound SR 113 connector ramp to eastbound I-80 is scheduled to be closed overnight for two shifts from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Wednesday, June 24 and Thursday, June 25.
The closure is needed to allow Caltrans’ contractors to complete pavement work and provide safety space for workers and heavy construction equipment to operate.
Suggested Signed Detour to Eastbound I-80:
- From southbound SR 113 merge left onto westbound I-80
- Continue westbound I-80
- Take the off-ramp to Kidwell Road (EXIT 69)
- Make a left turn onto Kidwell Road
- Turn left onto the eastbound I-80 on-ramp
This project includes $84.9 million from Senate Bill (SB 1), the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 and $82.9 million from the Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) in the form of the Infrastructure for Rebuilding America (INFRA). SB 1 provides $5 billion in transportation funding annually, shared equally between state and local agencies.
Road projects progress through construction phases more quickly based on the availability of SB 1 funds, including projects partially funded by SB 1. Visit build.ca.gov to learn more about transformative infrastructure projects happening in communities throughout the state.
Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, availability of equipment or materials, or other unexpected events.
Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
