The southbound 65th Street on-ramp to westbound US 50 is scheduled to be closed from 9 p.m. tonight until 5 a.m. Monday, November 24.
The work involves asphalt replacement on the 65th Street slip on-ramp to westbound US 50.

Suggested detour routes:
- Continue southbound on 65th Street
- Take the 65th Street loop on-ramp to eastbound US 50
- Continue eastbound on US 50 for about one mile
- From eastbound US 50, take the off-ramp to Howe Avenue/State Route 16/Power Inn Road (Exit 9)
- Turn left onto northbound Howe Avenue and take the northbound loop on-ramp back to westbound US 50
Caltrans reminds drivers to expect delays, stay alert when traveling through work zones and pay close attention to advance signage posted before the traffic split. Motorists are also encouraged to plan and allow extra travel time.
The ongoing work is part of a project to rehabilitate pavement and add 14 lane miles of high-occupancy lanes from the US 50/Interstate 5 interchange to the US 50/Watt Avenue interchange.
The work zone speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph and the California Highway Patrol will be present for traffic enforcement. For more information visit the U.S. Highway 50 Multimodal Corridor Enhancement and Rehabilitation Project on the Caltrans District 3 website.
