Yolo County - Caltrans is notifying motorists of an extended weekend full closure for the Harbor Boulevard exit and entrance ramps to westbound (WB) Interstate 80 (I-80) in Yolo County as part of the $280 million Interstate 80 (I-80) and U.S. Highway 50 (US 50) Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
The northbound Harbor Boulevard off-ramp and loop on-ramp to WB I-80 are scheduled to be closed for 55 hours from 9 p.m. Friday, August 22 to 4 a.m. Monday August 25, allowing Caltrans’ contractors to complete demolition and pavement work. (See Map)
Suggested Detour to Harbor Boulevard:
- Harbor Boulevard (OPTION 1)
Use Westbound (WB) US 50 to the West Capitol Avenue off-ramp to Eastbound (EB) Enterprise Boulevard loop on-ramp to the EB US 50 Harbor Boulevard loop off-ramp. - Harbor Boulevard (OPTION 2)
Use Westbound (WB) I-80 to West Capitol Avenue off-ramp, head east to Harbor Boulevard.
Suggested Detour to Westbound (WB) 80:

Use Industrial Boulevard to Enterprise Boulevard to the West Capitol Avenue loop on-ramp. - WB 80 (OPTION 2)
Use Northbound (NB) Harbor Boulevard to West Capitol Boulevard, head west to the WB Capitol Avenue slip on-ramp.
Suggested Detour to Eastbound (EB) 80:
- EB 80
Use Northbound (NB) Harbor Boulevard to the Reed Avenue, head west to Read Avenue loop on-ramp to EB I-80.
This project includes $47 million from Senate Bill (SB 1), the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017. SB 1 provides $5 billion in transportation funding annually, shared equally between state and local agencies.
Road projects progress through construction phases more quickly based on the availability of SB 1 funds, including projects partially funded by SB 1. Visit build.ca.gov to learn more about transformative infrastructure projects happening in communities throughout the state.
