PLACER COUNTY – Caltrans is advising motorists of various lane closures due to drainage and electrical work along State Route 28 (SR 28) in Placer County, in preparation for the $31.7 million Caltrans pavement project.
 
Work is scheduled at the following locations and times:
  • Along eastbound and westbound SR 28 Sunday, July 13 through Thursday, July 17 from 7 p.m. until 7 a.m. between Anderson Road and Deer Street.
  • Along eastbound and westbound SR 28 Monday, July 14 at 7 a.m. until Friday, July 18 at 3 p.m. between Mackinaw Road and Jackpine Street.
Schedules are subject to change due to weather conditions, equipment or material availability, or other unexpected events.
