Current & Upcoming Traffic Impacts:
- Ongoing Night Work: Underground drainage installation began last week and will continue nightly from 7 p.m. to 6 a.m. for the next three weeks under one-way traffic control throughout the project limits. Expect minor delays.
- Traffic Signal Construction & Modifications: Work will begin throughout the project area starting April 1.
- Pavement Work: The entire project limits will undergo grinding and overlay in the fall of 2025 or early spring of 2026.
- The work zone extends from the State Route 99/ SR-32 intersection (8th & 9th Streets) to the SR-32/Muir Avenue intersection.
Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
