State Route 32 Closures Scheduled for Park Fire Recovery Work

BUTTE COUNTY — Caltrans is alerting motorist of upcoming full closures on State Route 32 (SR-32) from Humboldt Road to the Tehama County line for continued Park Fire emergency work, including tree removal and erosion control.

Closure Schedule Starting Monday, February 10:
  • Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4 p.m.: SR-32 will be CLOSED to all traffic except for scheduled half-hour openings at:
  • 10 a.m.
  • Noon
  • 2 p.m.
Tree removal and erosion-control work is expected to last one to two weeks, with additional closures possible dependent on the weather. Motorists are urged to plan accordingly and expect delays.

Caltrans District 3 is responsible for maintaining and operating 4,385 lane miles in 11 Sacramento Valley and Northern Sierra counties. Caltrans reminds motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
