One-Way Traffic Control Continuing on State Route 193

Placer County – Caltrans is alerting motorists of continued travel delays and one-way traffic control at two locations on State Route 193 (SR-193) in Placer County next week for construction work.

A westbound turnout will be construction just east of Whittington Drive and an eastbound turnout will be added between Summer Star Way and Skyview Drive.Motorists should expect one-way traffic control and up to 20-minute travel delays between 6 a.m. and 6 p.m. Monday through Friday on SR-193 near Whittington Drive and Skyview Drive. 

A $2.8 million project is installing turnouts on State Route 20 in Nevada County just west of Conservation Road/Pine Needle Lane and two turnouts on SR-193 in Placer County. Teichert Construction of Roseville is the prime contractor for the project, which is expected to be complete later this summer.

Caltrans reminds motorists to “Be Work Zone Alert” and slow down in construction zones for the safety of travelers and crews performing these improvements.
